The ski resort Mont Saint-Sauveur is located in the Laurentides, Quebec in Canada. Only a 25-minute transfer away from Montreal Airport, this resort is fantastic for those who want to hit the slopes as soon as possible. Mont Saint-Sauveur provides a perfect setting for a first time family ski holiday with a range of slopes and exceptional panoramic views.
The ski area consists of 38 kilometres of slopes that guarantee variety for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities and with lower elevation ranges between 416 and 629 meters and 350 snow cannons, ideal skiing conditions are ensured throughout the winter season. New skiers will welcome the 10 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes as you can choose from a selection of easy wide slopes which are located throughout the entire resort, there is even a beginner’s area with a carpet lift and a ski school to aid children and adults in the early stages of their skiing journey. If you’re looking for a little more challenging terrain then there are 20 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes and 8 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes. The majority of the slopes aren’t very steep due to lower elevation ranges, however advanced skiers can still be challenged on the mogul slopes and the resorts most demanding run, the Nordique.
A popular attraction that you simply cannot miss is the night skiing here, Mont Saint-Sauveur has the largest night skiing area in the world with 30 kilometres of floodlit slopes, meaning nearly all slopes have floodlighting.
When it’s time to take a break from the slopes there are 2 Mountain restaurants to choose to spend your time and are both located at the base station of the resort. The Mont Sain-Sauveur and Mont Avila which offer amazing food for the whole family as well as a cosy fire to warm up by after a long day of skiing.
