The ski resort Mont Tremblant is a year-round resort located in the Laurentides of Quebec, Canada and is only a 1-hour transfer from Montreal Airport. With its impressive backdrop, great facilities and an abundance of amenities is the perfect destination for a ski holiday for all the family.
There is a great mix of terrain that caters to all ability levels from beginners to experts.consisting of 78.9 kilometres of slopes, and elevation ranges between 230 and 875 meters. Each slope has different degrees of steepness and difficulty and range from gentle slopes for those who prefer to take it easy and enjoy the scenery, to extreme terrains for thrill seekers. There are 16.6 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes for beginner skiers and for younger children there are mellow slopes serviced by magic carpets. If you’re looking for a bit more of a challenge, the 25.2 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes are for you, including the ‘Sentier Des Pruches’ and ‘Duncan Bas’ slopes. However, if you are an adrenaline junkie and want something more exhilarating then there are 37.1 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes which ensure even the most ambitious skiers get their fix. The Dynamite slope is extremely challenging with its steep descent and tricky terrain.
The resort is a great destination for families that provides ski school and activities other than just skiing and snowboarding such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and dog sledding. Mont Tremblant has a great deal to offer as a resort, with access to a variety of things to see and do in the area and the ability to reach restaurants, bars and shops very easily.
