Silver Star resort information

The Canadian ski resort Silver Star is the largest in the area and attracts a huge crowd of skiers and snowboarders every year, wanting to sample some of the 115km of slopes available at the resort. With 7 ski lifts available, the resort is situated between elevations of 1,155m and 1,915m.

There are 20km of easy blue runs, 50km of intermediate red runs and 45km of difficult black runs for skiers and snowboarders to discover, as well as a fantastic valley run. There is also Eldorado, which is longest run at 8km in length, and the Free Fall, which is the most difficult run at 1km in length. For those keen to extend their skiing day, night skiing is available throughout the resort.

With over 18 fantastic restaurants on offer, visitors and residents have a lot to choose from. They include the Lookout Café with the best views on the mountain, the Red Antler for family-friendly dining and the Silver Grill for culinary masterpieces. For the best après ski on the mountain, have a drink at the Final Run Bar & Bistro.
