A Canadian ski resort set within a horseshoe-shaped valley, the Stoneham Mountain Resort has plenty to offer winter sports enthusiasts, including a solid 32km of slopes to enjoy. There are 4 ski lifts for guests to use when traversing the medium-sized resort, which is situated between elevations of 212m and 632m.
Amongst the white slopes, skiers and snowboarders will find everything they need to make their stay complete. It starts with the slopes allocated by ability, including 8km of easy blue runs, 14km of intermediate red runs and 10km of difficult black runs. The balance of slopes here will ensure everyone is catered for, from complete beginners all the way up to advanced skiers who are looking for their next challenge. Runs 7 and 8 come recommended at the resort, whilst the valley run is an additional challenge at 3.2km in length. As well as a snow park with halfpipe for freestyle skiers, there is also night skiing for those who can’t quite bring themselves to get off the slopes early.
With the resort located just 20 minutes from Quebec City, there is a lot on offer for those wanting a bite to eat during the day. Visitors and residents are encouraged to check out Feu-Follet, Restaurant Le Stonehouse which is good for families, and Bistro Camp de Base.
