Hovden resort information

Hovden ski resort can be found in Setesdal, Aust-Agder Norway. It is a wonderful choice for skiing and snowboarding with 34.4km of varied slopes available 19.1km of easy slopes perfect for children and beginners, 13.2km of intermediate slopes and 2.1km of difficult slopes for the more skilled skiers. There are 8 operational lifts to transport guests around the resort to their choisen elevation between 822 and 1,183m.

The upper section of the ski resort is above treeline, the further down the mountain you travel the more you ski through the forest aisles and into the valley. The longest run at the resort is the Simlene which is 3km in length, the most difficult run is Bratthenget, it is sure to challenge even the skilled skiers.

This modern resort is perfect for families, the Kutoppen hill in the Tusseland children’s ski area is wonderful, well maintained and cared for, the Bukkerittet Terrengpark (funpark) has new additions added each year to keep the children entertained season after season.
