The ski resort Myrkdalen is located in Vestlandet, Western Norway and is only a 2-hour transfer from Bergen Airport. It provides guests with a range of wonderfully wide slopes as well as steeper terrain for a perfect holiday in a snowy paradise. Consisting of over 30 kilometres of ski slopes and elevations between 450 and 1,060 metres, the resort is ensured an excellent quality of snow right up to the start of Spring.
In total the resort is made up of 30 kilometres of slopes different areas all of which are accessible by the 8 lifts available for transporting guests and visitors. There are 13 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes perfect for beginners, most of these slopes take you through the beautiful birch forest. 12.5 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes including the Kari Traa-Trekket are ideal if you want something a little more demanding and 4.5 kilometres of ‘expert’ black slopes such as the ygardsløypo No. 2 slope which is 1.5 kilometres in length as well as a few mogul slopes are the spots for you. So, whether you are a powder professional looking for exhilaration or a beginner wanted a calmer, more pleasant slope, you are sure to find something adapted to your skill level.
There are so many après-ski and dining options on offer in the resort, with a selection of cafes, restaurants and bars. The most popular is Restaurant Tunet, a very modern restaurant where guests can enjoy delicious breakfasts, snacks and meals for all the family.
